The Infologue.com Story

Founded in 1997, Infologue.com was the first security industry internet news provider and has consistently been at the forefront of using innovative methods in dispensing the latest news to the security industry. We have also initiated well known and successful industry campaigns such as Four Issues One Voice and Make the Change campaigns, which were designed to highlight areas of concern for the industry.

Infologue.com Industry Activities:

The Building the Future Award:
In 2003 Logue Corporate introduced the Infologue.com Building the Future Award which is awarded to the person or organisation that in the view of majority of previous winners of the Infologue.com Building the Future Award has created the most significant footprints towards a vibrant, professional and mutually profitable guarding industry during each year. This award is presented jointly by the Editors of Infologue.com and SMT and sponsored by Interconnective Limited. The winner writes an essay on their take of the security industry in transition. The essay provides an insight into the thinking of industry leaders. Previous winners include such industry luminaries as former British Security Industry Association Chief Executive, David Dickinson, security industry company Chairman Bill Muskin (VSG), Chief Executives David Beaton (G4S), Stuart Lowden (Wilson James) and Ian Nisbet (G4S Cash Services) and the security industry training organization, Skills for Security.

Infologue.com Top 20:
Since 2003 Logue Corporate introduced the Infologue.com Table of Top 20 UK Security Guarding Companies estimating the current annual turnover of the 20 largest security guarding  companies.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR):
In addition to its CSR responsibilities as part of the Interconnective family, Infologue.com provides prominent space on its website for the charity, The Security Benevolent Fund.

The Editor of Infologue.com is Bobby Logue, who has held executive level positions with major manned security businesses in the UK and South Africa since 1978. He has also held senior office in two major industry associations responsible for strategy and industry development. He was a Member of the South African Institute of Security between 1983 and 2009 as well as a founder member of the Institute of Criminology (University of South Africa). He is currently a director of Interconnective Limited, product and service suppliers to the security guarding industry. In 2005 Bobby Logue produced a significant paper on the future of the guarding industry in the UK titled Even dinosaurs learn to dance. He has received two security industry awards in recognition for his services to the Security Industry from his role as Editor of Infologue.com.
