| G4S Secure Solutions (‘G4S’) has announced the appointment of Steve Bailey as Managing Director of its newly formed Employment Screening and Vetting division. Steve will be responsible for developing the business into a market leader in the global screening industry. G4S’s Employment Screening and Vetting division enables customers to significantly reduce the risk and impact of taking on an unsuitable candidate, or failing to check the status of existing employees and contractors.
Steve is one of
Europe’s leading authorities on employee recruitment and vetting and is the
founder and former joint European Chair of NAPBS (National Association of
Professional Background Screeners) Europe. NAPBS represents companies in the
screening industry and seeks to inform debate on industry standards and
regulation. He is widely published on technology and financial issues and is
the founder of The Chairman’s Network Publications.
Steve founded
RwC Plc (Background Checking) and developed it into a market leader in the
burgeoning screening and vetting sector. The business was acquired by Experian
in April 2006 and was the recognised leader in the provision of CV vetting
services to both Small to Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) and major corporations
and institutions.
