The hard work and dedication of the security industry’s apprentices has been recognised by the British Security Industry Association (BSIA)’s Annual Apprentice Installer Awards 2010. The awards demonstrate the high standards that are expected of apprentices within the security industry and recognise excellence, quality of service and professionalism.

From a strong selection of entries the following winners were selected: John
Chapman of Chubb Electronic Security (overall winner), Callum Reeder of ADT Fire
and Security (national winner) and Joseph Broomhead of Pentagon Fire and
Security Ltd (national winner).
James Kelly, Chief Executive of the BSIA, comments: “These awards recognise the
elite of the security industry’s apprentices and are a tribute to the dedication
of the new blood of our industry. Each of this year’s winning apprentices have
demonstrated extreme commitment to their career in the security industry and the
BSIA is honoured to acknowledge their achievements. I offer my sincere
congratulations to each of the winners who should accept this accolade with
great pride.”
The awards were presented by Sir Paul Stephenson QPM, Commissioner of the
Metropolitan Police Service, at the BSIA’s Annual Luncheon, which was held
yesterday at the London Hilton on Park Lane. The BSIA would like to take this
