[ IPC SAYS YES TO CHURCHILL ]

Churchill Contract Services Group, the Hertfordshire based cleaning and related B2B services provider has acquired the Newcastle based IPC Security (Formerly known as St James Security) and its sister events company Touchline Event Management.

Churchill Contract Services Group is a national provider of cleaning and other related business services, operating across all sectors, with a current £35million turnover. "This acquisition is very exciting for Churchill, and enhances our offer to our clients," stated Joel Briggs, Managing Director of Churchill Contract Services Group.  “IPC and Touchline’s innovative solutions, important customer relationships, and outstanding professional staff will greatly increase our delivery capability in the UK.  Our new colleagues at IPC and Touchline share so many of our values that our joint focus will ensure a seamless transition for all existing customers.”

"We are looking forward to pursuing new business opportunities as part of Churchill," said Mark Partridge, Managing Director of IPC.  "Churchill's proven operational capabilities and wider presence will accelerate the growth of our combined businesses, and the IPC and Touchline teams are excited to become part of the Churchill family.  I am sure that our many clients will see this as a positive move, which has strengthened the business, protected jobs, and will broaden the range of services that we are able to deliver.”

With IPC and Touchline being based mainly in the north of the country, and Churchill mainly in the south, this acquisition is the next step in Churchill's strategic objective to become a leading provider of bundled soft services throughout the UK marketplace. Infologue.com estimated the turnover of IPC Security – Touchline to be between £9-10 million annually.
